The proposal here is to pad zeros for query result to the type's scale. Due to the volume of queries that should under go this casting change, is it possible to set this Implicit casting at a global level (say SET). If you have such app (which you likely have), you would have to CAST to a data typpe which matches the format you want (like decimal or some string type). Hit the "Get Data" button to import it. However, if the target port is defined with more precision then the trailing zeros are added again on the target port.
